Batch No.25 is our take on the classic Balmacaan overcoat. This version is made from a grey Harris Tweed with a geometric check, which we first discovered during a visit to the mill two years ago. It has all the texture and character you'd expect from a handwoven Harris Tweed, but the combination of colours and check makes it feel much more contemporary.

Of the three Batch No.25 fabrics, this is the lightest, with a texture and weight that pair perfectly with the coat’s relaxed silhouette and subtle practical detailing. We hope it’ll become one of those coats you look forward to wearing every winter.

A relaxed fitting overcoat allowing for layering underneath. The coat is designed to finish just under the knee.

If you prefer a closer fit, or are in between sizes we recommend sizing down. 

The coat measurements on the size chart are taken when the coat is off-body, laid flat and buttoned up. If you’re unsure of your size or need any advice, check out our size guide or drop us a message, and we’ll be happy to help.

Our model, Kingsley, is 5 foot 11 / 180cm and wears a size Large Batch No.25 Wool Overocoat. He also wears a Large in all of our other jackets.

A hardwearing 14.75oz Harris Tweed herringbone cloth that has been handwoven with 100% pure new wool on the Isle of Lewis and Harris in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides.

It’s heavy enough to keep you warm but light enough to drape well and layer comfortably underneath. Every meter of this texture rich fabric has been handwoven and finished to Harris Tweed’s exacting standards and comes with a Harris Tweed authentication label inside the coat.

Fully lined with 100% viscose. 

Dry clean only. Iron on a cool setting, or for best results, use a steamer to take out creases.

Each coat will be made to order in Portugal by a small family-run factory. As always, you’ll receive video updates with behind-the-scenes footage of your coat being made before it ships in mid-late November.

Once your coat has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with tracking details.

US orders will be shipped from within the US, and EU orders from within the EU. All other orders will be shipped from the UK.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 28 days of delivery.

You can split your payment into two, paying 50% now to guarantee yourself a jacket, and 50% (plus shipping) one month later. If you’d like to purchase a jacket with a split payment, please select ‘Pay 50/50’ before adding your coat to your basket.

The second payment will be automatically taken on the 1st of November. Please note: If the second payment is not made, your jacket will not be shipped and your first payment will be refunded.
