The Fun Shirt. Made from the last remaining rolls of two discontinued Japanese Typewriter fabrics. This shirt alternates two striped cloths to create our own understated take on the classic Fun Shirt. Not loud or novelty. Just subtle enough that you notice on a second look. 

Finished with single needle stitching, mother of pearl buttons, and made by our longstanding shirting factory in northern Portugal. Shipping from 9th July.

A timeless A-line fit shirt with enough room to move in and comfortable for everyday wear. The shirt fits true to size, so we recommend taking your normal size.

Back in 2023, during our trip to Japan, we found this beautiful striped Typewriter cloth. It was crisp, lightweight and made a pleasing sound when you creased it. 

Typewriter cloth is a Japanese shirting fabric woven from fine extra-long staple cotton on traditional shuttle looms. It is tightly woven and goes through a special finishing process, giving it a soft papery handle and a slightly lived in texture. 

Despite it being incredibly lightweight and breathable, the name supposedly comes from the fact that it was once considered dense enough to feed through a typewriter.

Woven in Japan from 100% Cotton.

When the time comes, machine wash at 30 degrees, hang dry, iron inside out.
