    This fine French needlecord fabric is one of the best we’ve come across. We've used it to make a hardy workshirt that has been garment dyed for a worn in look and feel and finished with natural corozo nut fisheye buttons.

  • Details

    Classic workshirt. Made in a mid-weight, 14 wale corduroy woven in France. 100% Organic Cotton. Garment dyed. Regular fit. Curved hem. Two buttoned flap chest pockets. Single button barrel cuffs. Pointed collar. Buttoned front. Twin needle stitching throughout. Made in Portugal. When the time comes, machine wash at 30 degrees, hang dry, iron inside out. 

  • Fit

    A timeless regular fitting shirt with enough room to move in and is comfortable for everyday wear. The shirt fits true to size, so we recommend taking your normal size. Compared to our oversized Oxford & Chambray shirts in the women's fit, the workshirt is a smaller and more regular sized fit.

    Our model, Siôbhan, is 5 foot 2 / 158cm, Size UK 6 and wears a size XS.

Designed to be hardy and functional, but after centuries of iterating and refining, this utilitarian fabric has become more elegant with a luxurious and tactile finish that’s soft to touch and cosy to wear. It’s rich in character, colour and is one of the longest lasting fabrics to have in your wardrobe. We’re big fans.

Our shirts are hand made in a factory nestled away on a mountain side in Guimarães, Portugal. It’s a maker town. The factory is a small family run business that has been going for the last 30 years, specialising in shirts They have a track record for supporting the underdogs. We’re proud to have our jackets made by them.
