Having a jacket made for you means you've got to get the sizing right upfront. To make it as easy as possible for you to find your fit, we've compiled our size advice and measurement charts, along with photography to give you all the information you should need.
Even if you've got a few jackets from us, this time our fits have had an update, so read on to double check. For Batch No.5 we've factored in space for layering underneath, and we have a dedicated men's and women's fit this time.
The Size Chart.
To find your fit, our size charts should come in handy.
George is 5 ft 11, 6ft on a good day, and is our 'perfect Medium'. Here he is wearing a Men's Medium from Batch No.5 in Paynter Red. He also makes a great dhal.
For our men's fit, we’ve taken our classic jacket and tweaked the measurements slightly, to allow for layering underneath. We'd advise to take your normal size, or if you're unsure, use the size chart above to compare your best fitting jacket when laid flat and buttoned up.
Fern is 5 ft 9, and is a UK size 8. She's wearing a Small Women's Batch No.5 in Camel. She beats George at everything, especially Rummikub.
Our women's fit is a boxy cut, built for cosy layering underneath. Cuffs finish neatly on the wrist, and the body will finish on the hip. The slightly shorter body gives a flattering fit while being easy to button up over curves and layers.

Please note, the measurements are taken when the jacket is laid flat and buttoned up, measuring in centimetres from seam to seam.
If you don't know which size to go for, we recommend finding the jacket in your wardrobe that fits the best, and comparing our measurements to your own.

Why a women's fit this time?
Though we love the slim unisex cut of our jackets, it wasn't going to work with such a heavy wool fabric. Especially for women.
This is a jacket that was built for winter, so it needed to be comfortable to wear closed and with layers underneath. For women with a bust or hips (aka most of us), that hasn't always been easy.
Our women's fit skims over curves and finishes flatteringly on the hips. There's room for layers, no need to roll cuffs, and cosy hand warmer pockets just like our men's cut.
I'm a guy and I want to layer underneath, should I size up?
No, we've factored in space to layer a thick knit or hoodie underneath, so take your usual size.
