A Wool Overcoat is an investment piece and a coat for life, so we want it to fit just right.
Our coats have been designed with a relaxed fit to allow plenty of layering underneath, which is how we style our coats in the photos. If you prefer a slimmer fit than is shown in the photos, then we'd recommend sizing down.
Women's Batch No.19 Size Guide
How to find the right size:
1. The measurements are taken on the garment laid flat from seam to seam, not on the body.
2. The body length is the highest point that the body meets the collar, to the base of the garment.
3. The sleeve is measured from where the sleeve meets the collar seam, to the base of the cuff, following the outside curve of the sleeve.
4. The chest is measured from armpit to armpit, laid flat, not the circumference.

Model measurements for reference.
Our model below, Siôbhan, is 5 ft 2 / 157.5cm, size 6 and wears a size XXS. She usually wears an XS in our other jackets. These photos show a regular fit and for more a petit length, Siôbhan is wearing the size down from her usual size.
For comparison, Becky is 5 ft 6 / 171cm, size UK 10 and wears M, she wears size S or M in our other jackets but prefers a looser fitting overcoat so she sized up.

Our first iteration of the Harris tweed overcoat was very popular, so nothing has changed other than the sleeve length. We made a very minor adjustment to add 1cm to the sleeve length this time, after feedback that the sleeves were a little too short on the first version.
