Batch No.23 introduces our Waxed Utility Jacket - a shorter zipped outer layer built for year-round wear. Constructed from a lightweight and dry waxed canvas developed by Halley Stevensons in Scotland, the fabric is lighter, softer and more versatile than traditional waxed cloth, whilst remaining durable and water-repellent. Inspired by vintage workwear,  it’s practical and purposeful. The Utility Jacket is fully lined and finished with Brisbane Moss corduroy on the collar and inside the cuffs. The Utility Jacket is a mid-length, regular-fitting jacket that fits true to size, with enough room to move in and comfortable for everyday layering. We recommend taking your normal size. For full measurements, please check our size guide.

Our model, Kingsley, is 5 foot 11 / 180cm and wears a size UK Large. He wears Large in all of our other jackets and shirts.

Collar and Cuff Lining - 100% Cotton corduroy from Brisbane Moss.

Body Lining - 100% Brushed cotton.

Sleeve Lining - 100% Viscose.

If you need to clean your jacket, spot wash when possible. When it needs a proper wash, hand wash at 30 degrees, then lightly iron or steam to bring the wax back to life. Over time, the coat can be re-proofed using Halley Stevensons’ Reproofing Spray.

Every jacket is made to order, so there is no waste from overproduction. You’ll receive behind-the-scenes video updates as your jacket is being made. We’ll be shipping in mid-April, via tracked services for all destinations. Returns and exchanges accepted within 28 days of delivery.

All US orders will be shipped from the US, so no import duties will be due. EU orders will be shipped directly from the EU, and all other orders will be dispatched from the UK.

You can split your payment into two, paying 50% now to guarantee yourself a jacket, and 50% (plus shipping) one month later. If you’d like to purchase a jacket with a split payment, please select ‘Pay 50/50’ before adding your jacket to your basket.
