Details

Constructed from a 22oz Beira Alta lambswool, and lined with a soft 6oz cotton twill, this is our heaviest jacket yet. With two patch pockets, two spacious and lined hand warmer pocket, this jacket is built for winter. Inside you'll find the limited edition Evan Cohen label, two extra pockets and a hang-loop on the collar for easy hang drying. Made in Portugal using Portuguese wool and Portuguese lining.
Fit

We’ve taken our classic fit and tweaked it to allow room for layering underneath. Available from XS to XXL. Take your normal size.

Fabric & Care

Made with a tightly woven, wind and rain resistant, 22oz Beira Alta lambswool, lined with a soft 6oz cotton twill and viscose on the sleeves. As the jacket is made from wool, it’s dry clean only. Iron on a cool setting.

We ship worldwide with speedy and reliable DHL. As each jacket is made to order, it will ship in January. You’ll get weekly updates from us along the way, as your jacket is made for you.
We have a 30 day returns policy, starting when you receive the jacket, and can often accommodate size exchanges if you tell us quickly.

THE APPLECROSS JACKET

We were driving through the Scottish highlands on our way to the Applecross Inn when we hit a pothole. Our tyre burst and we spent the next hour on the side of the road, freezing. Wearing three jackets each, one to stay dry, one to stay warm, and another for the pub where we were going. Wishing we’d had just one jacket that would do the job, we started working on a heavier, cosier jacket that would battle the elements. And it had to look as good as it performed, something you could comfortably wear to a restaurant, or on a hike. That’s when The Applecross Jacket was born.

A WINTER WEIGHT WOOL

Batch No.5 is constructed from a tightly woven 22oz 100% Beira Alta lambswool. It’s naturally water repellent, insulating and hardwearing.

COLD FINGER SNAPS

Ever tried to undo your buttons while wearing gloves? Yeah, not easy. That’s why you see snap buttons on hardy outerwear. We chose super strong brushed snap buttons with an eco nickel-free finish. Thanks to Cobrax and their patented button design, these snap buttons won’t rattle like all the others do.

LIMITED EDITION

Inside every jacket hides a limited edition label, this time designed by Evan Cohen. The artwork was commissioned exclusively for us and tells the story of fighting resistance.

THE CALIFORNIA OF EUROPE

Our jackets are hand made in a factory nestled away on a mountain side in Guimarães, Portugal. It’s a maker town. The factory is a small family run business that has been going for the last 30 years, specialising in jackets. They have a track record for supporting the underdogs. We’re proud to have our jackets made by them.
